Summer Fun for Your Curves
'No Fear' This Bathing Suit Season!

A warm Spring day brings thoughts of Summer, the beach and the dreaded search for the perfect swimsuit. If you’re like me, once you start thinking about wearing a bathing suit, finding one that balances your figure and draws attention to your best features becomes a high priority. Here are some tips and styles to dymistify the process and help you to manage the waters (so to speak). Have no fear this swimsuit season, AmaZe is here!

Terri's Tip: For your sexiest beach body ever, select a suit that fits your figure rather then 'buying in' to the latest trends. There are plenty of options for every shape from summer's newest looks.

plus size swimwear How to Diminish a Fuller Middle...

  • A blouson one-piece bathing suit plays down your midsection and is easy to find.
  • Spaghetti straps accentuate a beautiful face and graceful shoulders while diverting attention from your lower body.
  • A long tankini top gives the illusion of bare while still offering great tummy coverage.
  • A sexy halter style puts the focus on your face, neck and shoulders.
  • A bold print camouflages, while a low-cut neckline highlights and enhances cleavage and draws the eye upward.

plus size swimwear How to Create the Right Curves...

  • A bandeau top with horizontal stripes widens a narrow upper body.
  • A deep-V, halter-style one-piece with a seam at the bust and high-cut legs fills out your figure.
  • A padded bikini top and high leg bikini bottoms with side ties enhance your shape.

plus size swimwear How to Play Down your Weaker Areas...

  • An underwire top with a wide band reinforces a large chest. For a smaller bust, it creates cleavage.
  • A full-cut halter style makes a big bust bounce-proof. For a small chest, it adds shape and contour.
  • A racer-back one piece with a high neckline minimizes and supports the bustline.
  • A high-tech fabric holds you in, while vertical stripes slenderize your silhouette
  • A two-tone one-piece with a bias cut balances out your top and trims your hips.
  • A side-swept print with carefully placed patterns and keyhole cutout disguises bumps.
  • Use light colors on smaller areas and dark on larger.

plus size swimwear Where to Buy...

  • My favorite swimsuit this year is Avenue's Red Floral Slimming Swimsuit  I especially like the print, the optional halter neckline and tummy control.  Visit Avenue.com
  • For value and style, try Newport News online at Newport-News.com
  • And also for a great new site with lots of choices visit swimsuitsjustforus.com

Terri's Tip: Rinse your swimsuit to keep the original color bright. Chlorine and ocean/lake water discolor, lighten and break down elastic in even the best and most expensive suits.

Remember, have no fear this summer season. Instead, enjoy your curves and flaunt what you have!
